Cheers (Season 2) DVD Review
One of the top sitcoms nominal 1980s, Cheers founded the "must see" hours NBC programming in primetime. Following the exploits of a group of bar employees and customers, Cheers has become a regular venue not only for the likes of Norm Peterson and Cliff Clavin, but for all America. Barman and Cheers owner Sam Malone is a retired pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, while he was joined employees Ernie "Coach" Pantusso, Carla Tortelli, and Diane Chambers. A series of recurring characters sitting around the bar to appear in every episode. Almost every episode takes place entirely at the bar …
The Cheers (Season 2) DVD offers a number of hilarious episodes of Sam and Diane and ignites long-term on-again/off-again romance. It is also the first season when Cliff Clavin is an opening "credits" cast member (although it appeared in most episodes of the season). With the collaboration of Fred Dryer (Glory Hunter), Dick Cavett, Harry Anderson (Night Court Fame) and Christopher Lloyd (Taxi and return to the future fame) to make some sequences memorable stories. The season ends with Sam and the romance of Diana on shaky ground …
