Terms and conditions of Delivery
The buyers are liable to the following conditions at the time of delivery:
1. The customer must sign an inspection report and/or delivery receipt. Before inspecting the product and accepting the shipment, it is extremely important for the customer to note down any damage to the box on the delivery driver’s documents.
2. In case there is any sign of delivery company's mishandling on the box such as scraping, dirt hole, crushed corners, dents, etc., the customer has to write down the exact condition of each package on the delivery receipt.
3. After the condition is noted down, the customer can proceed and open the shipment.
4. In case any damage is found to the products, customer can mark on the delivery receipt and/or physical inspection report "refused damage". Customer must also give details of the damage to the products.
5. The buyer must email Modern Furniture Place right away with contact details.
6. In case a buyer does not get a proper compensation, a refund will be furnished in the form of original payment mode.
Customers are entirely responsible to inspect a product before signing and accepting delivery. In case any damage is found or claimed after signing for delivery without any documentation, Modern Furniture Place will not be accountable for any return or replacement If customer chooses to refuse any merchandise, the customer must notify Modern Furniture Place of such refusal right away of the receipt and agree to reship the merchandise to us in the original condition at customer's expense within 96 hours after such refusal, otherwise customers acceptance of the products shall be concluded. Modern Furniture Place reserves the right to examine and inspect all returned and exchanged items before deciding wherever to issue a credit to your account. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
All defective merchandise that is returned to us must be packed in original boxes with original packing material. Merchandise that has been assembled will not be accepted for a refund, credit or exchange
In case a problem is found and verified, Modern Furniture Place will replace the faulty part. If an appropriate replacement is not found, a return will be given, and once it is completed, a repayment will be given in the form of original mode of payment.
Terms and conditions of Return
Modern Fruniture Place makes sure that your orders are well taken care of and delivered in the best possible condition.However you must inspect your shipment at the time of delivery. If there is any problem, the claim must be made right away. The items which are in perfect condition are subject to 30% restocking fee. Also, the notification of return must be sent right away after receiving of your merchandise. The shipping charges are non- refundable. Repacking as well as return transportation is the responsibility of the customer. The returned products have to be shipped back in the original packaging. They must not be used or damaged. We will check the shipment at the time of receiving to know if there are any damages etc. We have the right to accept or deny the return partially or as whole.
Replacement Orders
Shipping for replacement orders are entirely the liability of the buyer. Modern Furniture Place will not ship a replacement products at our cost but will give it to the customer at no cost to manage their own transportation (besides “pick up” orders or “hidden” damage orders).
Modern Furniture Place is not responsible for the damages caused by the freight company
If an item needs to be replaced for any reason, the item must be returned in 'Like-New' condition for a full or partial refund.
Special Orders
There may be variations in shade due to natural origin of wood, leather and fabric materials.
Special order can be canceled within first 24 hours of placing the order. Modern Furniture Place reserves right to refuse refunds or exchanges after such time. All delivery dates are approximate and can change due to production time frame, shipping schedule or any other causes beyond our control.
